Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), together with EXIM Thailand’s executives from the SMEs Business Promotion Function Line, participated in an in-house SMEs Business Kick-off workshop aiming to develop the capabilities of staff in formulating action plans and enhancing their work skills, knowledge and work processes throughout the supply chain at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on May 10, 2024. The workshop aimed to elevate the experience of EXIM Thailand’s SMEs clients in line with the 5C principle for credit analysis, namely, Characters of customers, Capabilities of debt repayment, Capital of business, Collateral, and Conditions affecting business revenues. These principles were utilized to assess the business potential of both new and existing customers while preventing non-performing loans (NPLs). During the workshop, EXIM Thailand President delivered the policy aimed at driving Thai SMEs into green export supply chains in both manufacturing and service sectors with the ultimate goal of driving sustainable development at the social, national, and global levels.
