EXIM Thailand Joins Force with OSMEP and 30 Financial Institutions, Public and Private Agencies to Boost Thai SMEs’ Competitiveness
Mr. Suthanai Prasertsan (second row, third left), Acting President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) and Ms. Wimonkan Kosumas (front row, far right), Acting Director-General of Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP), and 30 other financial institutions, governmental and private agencies, recently co-signed memoranda of understanding on cooperation to promote Thai SMEs’ competitiveness. The MOU’s objective was to integrate SME development efforts initiated by various public and private agencies to enhance SME strengths and competitiveness, thus, promoting Thailand’s sustainable growth. Presided over by Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha (front row, center), Prime Minister and Chief of National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), in his capacity as Chairman of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Promotion Committee, the signing ceremony took place at Santi Maitri Building, Government House.
