Dr. Apichai Boontherawara (left), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently congratulated Mr. Buntoeng Vongkusolkit (right), Group Managing Director-ASEAN Business, Mitr Phol Sugar Corp. Ltd., on the grand opening of Mitr Lao Sugar Mill of Mitr Lao Sugar Co., Ltd. in Savannakhet province, Lao PDR. EXIM Thailand offered a syndicated loan to the company for sugarcane cultivation and construction of a sugar mill with a cane crushing capacity of 10,000 tonnes of sugarcane daily.
