EXIM Thailand Forges ahead with the Enterprise Plan to Drive National Strategies and Announces Satisfactory 2016 Operating Results
Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), announced EXIM Thailand’s policy for 2017 highlighting its new role to drive national strategies, at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on February 1, 2017. In 2017, the Bank would start to implement its 10-year enterprise plan (2017-2027) and accelerate the development of online export credit insurance service as well as promote online trade and investment projects overseas. In view of EXIM Thailand’s performance in 2016, it recorded satisfactory operating results with outstanding loans of 83,169 million baht, a 9,630 million baht growth year-on-year, new loan drawdown during the year of 25,327 million baht with partial repayment of existing loans. This contributed to a business turnover of 133,993 million baht.
