EXIM Thailand Visits Government Partners in Japan Exploring Opportunities for Enhancing Trade and Investment within ESG Framework
Dr. Pasu Loharjun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), together with Mr. Suwat Kamolpanus, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of EXIM Thailand, Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of EXIM Thailand, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Special Advisor, Foreign Affairs, The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), and Mr. Chak Boon-Long, Chairman of Board of Director, Westech Exponential Co., Ltd., recently visited Mr. Maeda Tadashi, Chairman of the Board, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), to discuss ways to foster trade and investment between Thailand and Japan in Tokyo, Japan. The discussion focused on promoting sustainable development within the environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework. EXIM Thailand delegation also visited Mr. Kei Kawahara, Director of Trade Finance Division, Financial Cooperation Office Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), to explore opportunities for collaboration in advancing Thai-Japanese trade and investment. The two parties also exchanged views regarding end-of-life vehicle management and recycling measures aiming to foster future industry development and sustainable growth in Thailand.
