Mr. Nipon Boonyamanee, Former Deputy Minister of Interior, who presided over the opening ceremony of Money Expo Hatyai 2023, and Mr. Santi Viriyarungsarit, Group Editor of Money and Banking Magazine and Chairman of the Money Expo, visited the booth of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and was welcomed by Mr. Charat Rattanaboonniti, Executive Vice President of EXIM Thailand, at Central Festival Hatyai, Songkhla, on July 7, 2023.
During the Money Expo Hat Yai 2023, held at Central Festival Hatyai, Songkhla, from July 7-9, 2023, Cocoro Co., Ltd., a client of EXIM Thailand, has showcased high-quality bakery products for export at EXIM Thailand’s booth. The Bank also established a mobile EXIM Clinic for Small Entrepreneurs to provide advisory services and financial support, including special promotional packages, to SMEs interested in starting or expanding their export businesses. The Bank offerings include the EXIM Green Start Credit, designed for environmentally conscious businesses. It provided a maximum credit line of 200 million baht with a minimum interest rate of 4.25% per annum. Additionally, those who registered at the event were eligible for a special discount, reducing the interest rate to 4% per annum for the first year. Another service available was the EXIM Ready Credit, offering a maximum credit line of 20 million baht with a starting interest rate of 4.5% per annum. Environmentally friendly businesses could benefit from a reduced interest rate of 4.25% per annum for the first year. The EXIM Personal Biz loan catered to individuals conducting business, providing loans of up to 2 million baht. It offered a revolving credit starting at a maximum of 500,000 baht, with a guarantee letter from the Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) as the requirement. Registrants at the event could enjoy a reduced interest rate of 9.99% per annum for the first year, down from 12.55% per annum. Lastly, EXIM for Small Biz offered an export insurance facility to safeguard against the risk of non-payment from foreign buyers. The coverage extended to 70% of the value of losses, encompassing commercial and political risks in over 138 countries worldwide. Registrants received a complimentary export insurance policy with a coverage limit of 300,000 baht.
