EXIM Thailand Joins Seminar on International Trade Risk Management Techniques for Thai SME Exporters
Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn (fifth right), Senior Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), recently joined a group photo with Mr. Winichai Chaemcheng (center), Commercial Advisor to Ministry of Commerce and Mrs. Malee Choklumlerd (fifth left), Director-General of Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, in a seminar hosted by DITP titled “How to Cope with Strong Baht: Insights for SMEs” at Ministry of Commerce. EXIM Thailand participated as panelist to promote SMEs’ understanding on foreign exchange risk management by using financial tools such as foreign exchange forward contract facility, foreign currency deposit account and export credit facilities as well as export credit insurance against non-payment from overseas buyers.
