EXIM Thailand Strengthens Thai SMEs to Expand Businesses in CLMV, China, and Middle Eastern Markets
Ms. Draswan Shoowong, Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), presided over the opening of the “Global Business Matching 2024” program, organized by EXIM Thailand in collaboration with its partners at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on November 7, 2024. The program aims to enhance export opportunities and build business networks for Thai entrepreneurs and buyers in CLMV countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam), China, and the Middle East. Approximately 100 businesses in the food, health products, beverages, and cosmetics industries participated in the program, engaging in over 205 business-matching activities. This initiative is expected to generate around 200 million baht in international trade. EXIM Thailand is committed to supporting Thai exporters through financial services and export insurance to boost liquidity and manage risks in international trade, enabling them to expand confidently into new markets.
