EXIM Thailand Organizes EXIM Stakeholders Day to Gather Input for Sustainable Development
Mr. Teerarak Sangsnit, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), presided over the opening of EXIM Stakeholders Day, an event hosted by EXIM Thailand for the fourth consecutive year under the theme “EXIM’s Journey towards Green Development Bank.” The event featured Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, EXIM Thailand President, who led discussions to foster collaboration, enhance stakeholder engagement, and gather input from all sectors regarding EXIM Thailand's policies and operational strategies. As a specialized financial institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, EXIM Thailand is committed its role as a “Green Development Bank.” The event was held online at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on November 18, 2024 and was attended by representatives from regulatory agencies, stakeholders, representatives from the ministries overseeing the country’s economic affairs, and those from alliance agencies in both public and private sectors, such as Federation of Thai Industries, Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, Thai National Shippers’ Council, financial institutions and customers of all scales.

All feedback and suggestions gathered during the EXIM Shareholders Day event will be incorporated into EXIM Thailand’s formulation of its business direction, policies and plans, as well as its organizational development guidelines. This process aims to align with the needs and expectations of all stakeholders, ensuring sustainable global competitiveness, strengthening Thailand’s economy, and contributing to the country’s goals of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050. Additionally, EXIM Thailand encourages businesses of all sizes and industries to adopt Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in their operations.
