Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Fongsamout Douangchai, Managing Director of Lao Development Bank (LDB), jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote and support financial cooperation between EXIM Thailand and LDB, with the esteemed presence of Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of Thailand to Lao PDR and Dr. Bounleua Sinxayvoravong, Governor of Bank of the Lao PDR as witnesses. The MOU encompasses various aspects such as the exchange of information, personnel training and overall expansion of Thai-Lao trade and investment. The MOU signing ceremony took place at LDB Head Office, on July 10, 2023.
