Dr. Apichai Boontherawara (seated, right), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Sonexay Sitphaxay (seated, left), General Managing Director of Lao PDR’s Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao (BCEL), recently signed a Cooperation Agreement at Lao Plaza Hotel. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Wiboon Khusakul (standing, fourth right), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to Lao PDR, and Mr. Somphao Phyasith (standing, fourth left), Deputy Governor of Bank of Lao PDR. The Agreement is aimed at promoting relationship between EXIM Thailand and BCEL through information exchange, experience sharing, personnel training and joint financing on projects that contribute to overall economic development of Thailand, Lao PDR and the Greater Mekong Subregion.
