Mr. Kematat Saicheur (far right), Acting President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), took a group photo with Mr. Chanin Vongkusolkit (center), Director of Banpu Public Company Limited, and Mrs. Somruedee Chaimongkol (second right), Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited, in the opening ceremony of Hongsa Power Plant in Hongsa, Lao PDR. The plant was jointly financed by EXIM Thailand and 10 commercial banks. With the generation capacity of 1,878 megawatts, the project is the largest thermal power plant in Lao PDR, providing most of the electricity generated to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) for use in Thailand’s household and industrial sectors while contributing to the national development.
