EXIM Thailand Opens Booth at “SMEs and OTOP Go Global” Project Phase II
Mr. Kanit Sukonthaman, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), welcomed Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister, at the “Thai OTOP Moving Forward toward AEC” workshop under the “SMEs and OTOP Go Global” Project (phase II), which is a collaborative scheme between five ministries and six specialized financial institutions (SFIs) to promote SME and OTOP entrepreneurs’ access to financial resources for their business expansion in the world market at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on June 12, 2013. EXIM Thailand opened a booth display at the event to provide financial and advisory services to SMEs and OTOP enterprises interested in doing export business. This Project is a collaborative effort between eleven government agencies comprising of Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry for Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Minister of Interior, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand, Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives, Government Savings Bank, Isalamic Bank of Thailand and EXIM Thailand.
