EXIM Thailand Officially Opens Phnom Penh Representative Office to Enhance Thai-Cambodian Economic and Financial Partnership
Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, Minister of Finance, and Ms. Neav Chanthana, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, presided over the Export-Import Bank of Thailand’s Phnom Penh representative office opening ceremony which was witnessed by Mr. Chou Vannak, representative of Cambodia Ministry of Economy and Finance, Mr. Panyarak Poonsap, Thai Ambassador to Cambodia, Miss Suttirat Rattanachot, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EXIM Thailand, Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana, President of EXIM Thailand, and representatives from Thai-Cambodia public and private entities at Sofitel Phokeethra Phnom Penh Hotel on March 7, 2019. The bank’s Phnom Penh Representative office is part of Team Thailand to work with Thai-Cambodia public and Private sectors to facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to news and information needed for their business planning and operations in target countries with high potential, especially new frontier markets including CLMV. It will also develop financial products to specifically and efficiently serve each entrepreneur group’s needs, as well as connect SMEs with large companies in the value chain.
