Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), serving as a guest speaker, shared insights on the topic “SME Game Changer: Transforming Business to Conquer Export Markets” in the SMART SME EXPO 2023, organized by PMG Corporation Limited (PMG) while Dr. Mongkol Leelatham, Chief Executive Office of PMG and Mrs. Narintip Viriyabunditkul, Chairman of Executive Directors of PMG, provided a warm welcome at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani on July 8, 2566.

EXIM Thailand President highlighted the challenges and obstacles faced by SMEs when entering the global market and introduced the EXIM Thailand’s new role and services as “Beyond Banking,” supporting small entrepreneurs by offering advisory and financial services, aiding in debt management and working capital through the “EXIM Clinic for Small Entrepreneurs” project. This initiative aims to enhance knowledge, opportunities, and financial resources, ultimately strengthening Thai SMEs as a key driving force for sustainable development.
During the SMART SME EXPO 2023, EXIM Thailand collaborated with public and private sector organizations, including financial institutions, to provide advisory and financial services to individuals interested in starting or expanding export businesses. EXIM Thailand also supported business matching activities between Thai SMEs and trading partners in the CLMV market (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam) within sectors such as food, beverage, health and beauty, franchise, and technology. The objective is to create opportunities for Thai SMEs to expand their international market presence within the borderless trading world.
