Mr. Sathit Limpongpan (center), Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, presided over the opening ceremony of EXIMSurance Alliance Fair at Fashion Hall, 1st Floor, Siam Paragon on September 9, 2010. Also attending the ceremony were Dr. Naris Chaiyasoot (fifth left), Chairman of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), Mr. Suthep Wongvorazathe (fifth right), Chairman of the EXIM Thailand’s Board of Executive Directors, executives from EXIM Thailand and 9 other banks that co-organized the fair. The fair represented a collaborative effort between EXIM Thailand and 9 other banks namely, TMB Bank Public Company Limited, Islamic Bank of Thailand, Government Savings Bank, Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, Kasikornbank Public Company Limited, Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited and Siam City Bank Public Company Limited. Held on September 9-10, 2010 at Fashion Hall, 1st Floor, Siam Paragon, the fair features booth displays to provide advisory and information services to promote EXIMSurance and other international trade facilities which aim to boost Thai exporters’ confidence in initializing or expanding their businesses in the global marketplace amid the global financial crisis and continue baht appreciation.
