Dr. Apichai Boontherawara (left), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Fumio Hoshi (right), Executive Director of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Traineeship during the 14th Annual Meeting of Asian EXIM Banks Forum in Sydney, Australia. The MOU signing was witnessed by Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee (center), Chairman of the EXIM Thailand’s Board of Directors. Under the cooperation, JBIC will provide training to EXIM Thailand officers on project assessment and negotiation on power projects. EXIM Thailand officers will also visit JBIC’s clients’ plant or factory sites and attend JBIC’s internal training programs at JBIC’s Head Office in Tokyo, Japan.
