Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) and U Nyi Phyu Hla, Managing Director of Myanma Foreign Trade Bank (MFTB), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between EXIM Thailand and MFTB, witnessed by Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, Thailand’s Minister of Finance, at Sedona Yangon Hotel on June 9, 2017. The MOU was aimed at promoting the two banks’ cooperation on financial support and exchange of information and experience in assisting Thai-Myanma entrepreneurs engaging in international trade and investment, personnel development as well as trade and project financing.
