EXIM Thailand Collaborates with TU’s College of Innovation for Staff Training Program Development
EXIM Thailand steps up efforts to improve its personnel development capability by jointly designing a bankwide training program with College of Innovation, Thammasat University (CITU), using the CITU as the Bank’s main training venue and acquiring resource persons with CITU’s assistance. The program’s objective is to capitalize on the CITU’s cademic strengths combined with the Bank’s business experience.
Dr. Apichai Boontherawara (second right), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Assoc. Prof. M.R. Pongsvas Svasti (second left), CITU Dean, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding expressing EXIM Thailand-CITU cooperation in a workshop n “Human Resources Development Promotion” at the CITU Learning Resort, Pattaya Center.
According to Dr. Apichai, the two organizations will closely collaborate to develop training courses for EXIM Thailand’s personnel, invite experts from the TU faculties and outside, utilize the College’s facilities as EXIM Thailand’s training Center, while capturing the knowledge and skills from both CITU and EXIM Thailand in order to streamline the Bank’s personnel development process. This program will help upgrade EXIM Thailand workforce’s capability to fulfil the Bank’s role in adding values to the Thai export sector and conomy as well as the advancement of the Greater Mekong Subregion as a whole.
