EXIM Thailand and Phayathai District Office Jointly Launch Self-sufficient Vegetable Garden Project to Urge Community to Develop Source of Safe Foods and Improve Landscape along Sam Sen Canal
Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn (second left), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) together with Pol.Gen. Chinatat Meesukh (center), Adviser to Governor of Bangkok, and Pol.Maj.Gen. Akalachai Pongsiri (second right), Adviser to Governor of Bangkok, opened the EXIM Thailand’s Self-sufficient Vegetable Garden Project and Phayathai District’s Landscape Improvement along Samsen Canal Project. Ms. Benya Intharavongchot (right), Director of Phayathai District Office, and Ms. Wanpen Unchundacha (left), Executive Vice President of EXIM Thailand, also joined the opening ceremony at Phayathai Pirom Park on June 30, 2021. Under the EXIM Thailand’s Self-sufficient Vegetable Garden Project, the Bank’s volunteer staff jointly grow a variety of vegetables in the abandoned fields along Samsen Canal in the Park. The project aims to help promote safe food, household expenses reduction, good community relations and learning of vegetable gardening for household consumption and distribution.
