Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong (center), Minister for Finance, Mr. Jukr Boon-long (third left), Thai Ambassador to Yangon, Myanmar, Miss Suttirat Rattanachot (third right), Chairman of the Board of Directors, Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana (second right), President of EXIM Thailand, recently visited the 121-megawatt combined-cycle gas-turbine project developed by Toyo Thai Power Myanmar Co., Ltd. (TTPMC), a subsidiary of Toyo-Thai Corporation Public Company Limited (TTCL) and was welcomed by Mrs. Suratana Trinratana (far right), Chief Operation Officer (COO) and Vice President of TTCL in Yangon, Myanmar. The Bank provided 100 million US dollars loan and investment insurance service to the project to support electricity generation for sale to Myanmar’s government to cater for the rising demand for power supply in the country.
